Based in Houston Texas, Atmos Power Systems (APS) is a provider of low cost, "Turn-Key" electric power (Distributed Generation) plants for peak shaving, and interruptible load applications.

APS has installed power plants ranging in size from one (1) to twenty (20) megawatts. APS has standardized its power plant design which complies with substation and power plant electric code.

Lease programs are available which provide purchase options during the term of the lease.

APS power plants require low (4 to 5 PSIG) natural gas fuel pressure and no added cooling water during operation unlike combustion turbines.

The power plants remain ready to provide full electrical capacity within five (5) minutes.

The internal combustion (IC) engines installed by APS have excellent heat rates providing power (KWH) at reduced costs during peak periods.

All APS systems are installed with full maintenance contracts.

Projects do not require any "out-of-pocket" expense by the utility.

APS power plants (20 MW) have been constructed and commissioned within four (4) months.
